Founded in 1946, St. Andrew’s was the vision of a group of parents who wished to see
their children educated in a school which would provide “a sound general education
of the highest order”.
The school started with 65 children in a single storey, four
classroom building with 3 teachers.
Today, St. Andrew’s has grown to 336 students with a staff of 30
teachers and boasts a teacher pupil ratio of 1 teacher to
11 children, which is in keeping with the founders’ vision of maintaining
small classes to ensure individualized attention.
St. Andrew’s prides itself on its ability to offer a broad curriculum
which endeavors to meet the needs of individual students and
prepares them not just to pass the SEA, but also to successfully
cope with the demands of secondary school and beyond.
